Diablo 4 error codes list and how to fix common issues

Having server issues with Diablo 4 and getting an error code? Since Diablo 4 launched some players have reported getting various error codes when they try to log in. Blizzard in particular highlighted that they have received reports of licensing errors affecting PlayStation users when early access launched, but players on PC and Xbox also received the error code.

What does the Diablo 4 395002 error code mean?

The Diablo 4 395002 error code is one of the most commonly encountered issues, according to a thread on the Blizzard Forums.

The error code says the player's account is "currently locked" and "please wait a few minutes" before trying again.

How to fix the Diablo 4 395002 error code

Blizzard has said the Diablo 4 395002 error code occurs after too many consecutive login attempts. They advise waiting between five to 10 minutes before trying to log in again after an unsuccessful attempt.

Blizzard says this will give the Diablo 4 servers more time to update your account's status.

What does the Diablo 4 315306 error code mean?

The 315306 error code affected Diablo 4 while the game was in early access. When reports of the issue first emerged Blizzard said the problem was caused by the servers not being open when a player attempted to log in and was thankfully nothing to do with any licensing issues for your copy of Diablo 4.

That was according to a Blizzard Customer Support representative who was responding to players hit with the issue in a post on the official Blizzard Forums. However, despite this reports of the issue persisted with PlayStation gamers in particular affected.

How to fix the Diablo 4 315306 error code

Errors like this are often expected with the launch of big games. And this is even more true with the latest Diablo while it was in early access ahead of its official release.

To work around the error, Blizzard advised players affected by the Diablo 4 315306 error code to simply restart their system and try again. Thankfully, towards the end of early access Blizzard said the 315306 error code was no longer affecting Diablo 4.

What does the Diablo 4 300008 error code mean?

The Diablo 4 300008 error code says the player's request has "timed out" and asks them to "please try again". Players reported receiving this error when the game unexpectedly quit midway through a session, after getting booted out from the Diablo 4 servers.

"Timed out" errors typically point towards issues with a game's servers.

How to fix the Diablo 4 300008 error code

At the time of writing, Blizzard hasn't given a suggested fix for the Diablo 4 300008 error. There are a few things you can try out to try and resolve the issue.

The first port of call is checking if your internet connection is still working. If everything is OK and there are no issues with your Wi-Fi then try rebooting your router and device to see if that fixes the issue. If you're able to connect to the internet with an ethernet connection then that could help as well.

However, if you get this error code when there's a more widespread issue with the Diablo 4 servers then the above fixes won't help. You can check if Diablo 4 is suffering a major outage by heading to the website of outage monitor Down Detector and also checking out the latest updates from the Blizzard Customer Support Twitter accounts for the Americas and Europe.

What does the Diablo 4 300202 error code mean?

The Diablo 4 300202 error code typically occurs when players are creating their character. Players have reported receiving this code and getting booted out of servers when they go to select their class.

How to fix the Diablo 4 300202 error code

Unfortunately, Blizzard is yet to provide a recommended fix for the Diablo 4 300202 error code. However, some PC players have reported that updating their graphics card drivers has helped resolve the issue.

Hopefully this error and other common problems will be addressed by Blizzard in upcoming patches for Diablo 4. Adam Fletcher, the Global Community Development Director for Diablo 4, has said Blizzard is monitoring the reported login and server issues with the relevant teams "on it".
